As I said before, I'm so glad this is a Sunday show, because it gives me one more day to create and go prepare.
I'll be at the Kerrytown Artisan Market tomorrow. Here's a link to their site.
I didn't realize how great this location was till my sister brought it to my attention. I've actually been there before without knowing it. My sister took me to Zingerman's Deli, which is right down the street. This shop is a food lover's delight! They offer unbelievably great tasting sandwiches, baked goods and side dishes along with a great selection of oils, cheeses, condiments and coffees.
After the show I'm going to grab something to eat from there and take it to my mom who lives in Saline, a few miles west of Ann Arbor.
Getting ready for a show is exciting and overwhelming at the same time.

Today I'm making some last minute items.
These purple octopi haven't been baked yet. I made them in case the Red Wings win tonight..
They still need little white dots on the bottoms of their legs. I only made 5 because I'm not much of a sport's fan and it doesn't mean that much to me. I'm going to make more monkeys and cupcake items this afternoon. I might make a few small cake toppers too. So many ideas,,,so little time.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSnakes
Of course, it would not be a nice warm sunny day without a snake hanging around my yard. This little guy scared my son who came over to help me hang a shelf on the wall. I'm am so programmed to look for snakes when I walk out the door, that I'm like a robot, my head slowly scanning the yard for movement. The neighbors must think I'm nuts, because I walk the perimeter of my yard all the time, looking for snakes. I don't want to harm them. I'm actually fascinated by them, and I know they can't hurt me. It's almost a challenge to see if I'll see one. I was thinking I should start a blog called, A Snake A day, since I see one almost every day in the summer. It's not always the same one either. Today's snake is a garter snake.
(Just joking about the snake a day blog!)
